Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou has firmly asserted his belief that he emerged victorious in his recent boxing match against Tyson Fury, despite the split decision that ultimately favored the British heavyweight champion. The highly anticipated bout took place on a Saturday night in Saudi Arabia and stirred controversy when Ngannou, known for his powerful strikes, knocked down the WBC title holder Fury in Round 3.
In a post-match interview with IU, Ngannou shared his perspective on the outcome, acknowledging that the decision did not go in his favor. He stated, “If he [Fury] is being honest, he would say I won that fight. I won that fight, there’s no question about it.” Ngannou’s confidence in his victory stems from his conviction in the performance he delivered inside the boxing ring.
